Welcome to Tabula Tua's Wedding Registry—create a uniquely beautiful and sophisticated home.
HOW TO REGISTER
We recommend registering for your wedding or event three to six months prior to the event. If you are in or near Chicago, we recommend you come into our retail store at 1015 West Armitage Avenue in Lincoln Park. To make an appointment, please call (773) 525-3500, but you are welcome to stop by at any time to create your registry. If you are interested in creating a registry with Tabula Tua but live out-of-state or cannot make it into the store, please click here to submit your information online. One of our registry consultants will create the registry for you and upload it to our website within 72 hours of receiving your information.
UPDATING YOUR REGISTRY
You can update your registry—add and remove items or change personal information—anytime by calling us or sending an email. We'll take care of the changes for you and your online registry will usually be updated within 2 business days. You can view your registry online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to help keep track of purchased and thank you notes sent.
GIFT FULFILLMENT
Tabula Tua's dinnerware and other home furnishings are handcrafted and painted individually by artisans in studios from around the world, sometimes made-to-order especially for you. Therefore, we prefer for your final order to come from the same "batch". Also, some products from our special order lines are not always available for order on a piece-by-piece basis. For these reasons, gift purchases will be filled in one of two ways:
- For most registry purchases, instead of sending a placesetting or wine glass one at a time, we will send a gift announcement by mail letting the registered couple know what has been purchased for them along with a gift message from the purchaser. This allows the couple maximum flexibility in finishing incomplete registries—changing patterns, quantities, items, etc.
- For shower gifts and in-stock accessory (non-placesetting) orders, we will send the actual gift to the purchaser or the registered couple, whichever the gift giver and/or the couple prefers.
COMPLETION PROGRAM
After your event, you can purchase any of the remaining items on your registry for 10% off. This offer is good for use on a single purchase made within a year after your event for as many items on your registry as you wish. Use this offer to make your registry your dream list!
FRIEND REFERRAL PROGRAM
Have a friend that would love our selection here at Tabula Tua? Give us their name! We'll send you a $50 gift cerficate once they register with us and a purchase is made off their registry.
PRICE/AVAILABILITY GUARANTEE
Many of our items are of limited availibility or are one-of-a-kind. In the event one of the items you registered for becomes discontinued and/or unavailable, we will make every effor to notify you and suggest alternatives, but Tabula Tua cannot make any guarantee of availability. Product prices at the time of registration are not guaranteed and are subject to change without notice. Registrants may keep informed of any price changes on their online registry page.
RETURNS/EXCHANGES
Custom and special order items ordered in at any time during the registry are non-cancellable, non-returnable and non-exchangeable. Monogrammed items cannot be returned. Once the final order for monogrammed items has been placed, it cannot be changed or cancelled.
CHANGE OF SHIPPING ADDRESS
Should you need to change your shipping/receiving address from a non-taxable area (outside Illinois) to a taxable area, you will be required to pay the sales tax on any gifts that have not yet been received.
